RURAL GRANTSBURG – The fire that destroyed the home of Brad and Deanna Adolphson on Friday morning, April 13, left the family in need of clothing donations and help in searching for two of their three dogs, who were still missing on Saturday morning.

The dogs are a black and white pit bull named Riley and a brown brindle pit bull named Lacey. (See photo).  They apparently ran from the home on Fish Lake Road during the commotion of evacuating the house and firefighting efforts.

The Adolphsons have two sons, Scott, 17 and Trevor, 15.  Scott was home when the fire started, apparently from a pellet stove. He was able to get out of the house and call for help.

The family could use clothing items: Adult male 34 by 36 pants and XXL shirts, adult woman size 18 pants and XXL shirts, teen male 40 by 34 or 40 by 36 and XXL shirts, size 14 shoes and teen male 34 by 34 pants and XL shirts, size 13 shoes.

Persons can drop off items at the Grantsburg Country Store from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Call 715-222-3934 with information about dogs.
