BARRON COUNTY— Two suspects have been arrested and two more suspects have been identified by law enforcement in a pair of armed home invasions that took place Tuesday, Dec. 19, in Barron County.

Zachary Schwanke, 17, Barron and Ricky Gjerseth, 17, Black River Falls, are currently held in the Barron County jail on robbery charges. Law enforcement are looking for Tyler Rognholt, 17, Cameron and Jonah Blake, 20, Cumberland, in connection to the home invasions. Law enforcement states anyone with information on the location of Rognholt and Blake should contact 911.

The home invasions occurred in Barron and Chetek, the first at around 7:47 p.m., which involved four males wearing masks, carrying a gun and bats entered an apartment and held the person there at gunpoint while they took several items. The suspects then fled the scene.

The second home invasion occurred that same night about 45 minutes later in Chetek. This time the invasion involved three males who entered the Chetek residence, held the occupants at gunpoint and took several items from the home. During the home invasion, a person in the house was struck with a bat as he tried to tackle one of the suspects.

The investigation into the home invasions involved the sheriff’s department along with the Rice Lake, Barron and Chetek police departments.
