BURNETT COUNTY— Two men have warrants out for their arrest related to charges of burglary in Burnett County, according to court documents.

Michael Gosselin, 29, Rush City Minnesota, is wanted on charges of burglary and possession of burglarious tools, both felony offenses. Alan Schwartzbauer, 27, Grantsburg, is wanted on charges of burglary, possession of burglarious tools, both felonies, theft and criminal damage to property, both misdemeanors.

According to the criminal complaint, the Fishbowl bar was burglarized Oct. 4 where law enforcement’s investigation ultimately showed Schwartzbauer’s vehicle was seen leaving the parking of the bar at the time of the burglary. A fresh foot impression at the scene matched those for Schwartzbauer whose truck was found 5 miles north of the bar following the burglary.

A passerby gave two men, matching the description of Gosselin and Schwartzbauer, a ride to the Log Cabin store at around 8 a.m. that morning. Surveillance footage from the Log Cabin store shows Gosselin and Schwartzbauer making a purchase.

A search warrant on Schwartzbauer’s vehicle exposed evidence from other burglaries.
Court records show that Schwartzbauer is also wanted in two other criminal felony cases on charges of burglary, possession of burglarious tools, criminal damage to property and bail jumping.
