Fire at tribe’s St. Croix Lodge at Danbury

DANBURY – Firefighters responded to a fire near the pool/sauna area of the St. Croix Tribe’s former Hole In The Wall hotel, now called The St. Croix Lodge, on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 4.

Firefighters from Danbury, Webb Lake, Webster, Siren and the St. Croix Tribal fire departments, along with deputies from the Burnett County Sheriff’s Department and EMS personnel from North Memorial Ambulance responded to the scene.

Approximately 20 rooms were rented out at the time of the fire.

The St. Croix Lodge is located across a parking lot from the St. Croix Tribe’s new St. Croix Casino and Hotel on Hwy. 35.
