LUCK – The Cardinals volleyball team extended their record to 3-0 in the conference with a convincing win over Webster in three sets on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Luck won the sets by scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-9. The wins were an important step forward, but coach Sonja Jensen said there’s still plenty of work to do for the Cardinals.

“We played well offensively and showed some bright spots, but definitely have some things we need to be better at,” said Jensen. “We did get the win but will need to make some improvements.”

Leading in kills against the Tigers was Katie Mattson with 15, followed by Lindsay Mattson with eight and Isabelle Jensen with five.

Brooklyn Petersen led with 10 digs and Isabelle Jensen had six digs.

Petersen had a pair of aces and Britta Hibbs, Katie Mattson and Tasian Arjes each had one ace.
