The World According to Garth performs at Overlook

This young man was taught a few dance steps to the music of Garth brooks.
It was a warm evening on the Overlook Deck as hundreds gathered to hear “The World According to Garth,” a Garth Brooks tribute band, perform dozens of the singer’s songs.  Fans in the shape of cowboy hats were handy, thanks to Royal Credit Union.
It was an overflow crowd Friday evening, June 9, as the Overlook Deck hosted hundreds who came to enjoy the food, drink and music.

Christopher Seebeck was a hard-rock-loving furniture delivery driver with e work partner who insisted on listening to his Garth brooks mix-tape in the delivery truck.  Sixteen years later Seebeck and his band, “8 foot 4” created the Garth Brooks tribute show.

“The World According to Garth,” a Minneapolis-based band paying tribute to country superstar Garth Brooks, entertained the crowd into the evening, Friday, June 9.
