The curtain parts and she faces her fears and the audience. Dance teaches young dancers poise and grace along with the dancing skills. Addie Brown and River Durand have two different reactions at the completion of their performance. Indy Brown is having her hair done by Grace Olson. The older students come in early to help out before the youth recital. It is very chaotic backstage and the older students are very helpful. Sophia Meaux is a teaching assistant mentor for the younger dancers. Shown (L to R): Olivia Kunselman, Devyn Seidl, Meaux and Kellynn Larson. It is her way to give back to the art form that she loves so much. Fifteen years ago, at the age of 3, she was just starting dancing like these young dancers. Eden Temple is watching her shadow dance across the floor as she performs her routine at the Spooner School of Dance Recital at the Spooner High School on Saturday, June 10. The recital for the younger students was held in the afternoon and the later recital was for the advanced older students.
